Miki Gakki Musical Instruments, Ltd. Japan of Osaka has commissioned what is to become the Berkowitz D6, a fingerstyle dreadnought guitar. The instrument is voiced with the same balance and presentation you've come to expect from Berkowitz Guitars. The waist has been moved toward the neck, the upper bout is smaller than many, resulting in a slightly deeper waist and an instrument that balances comfortably on the body. Coming in June 2009.

Berkowitz Guitars is also introducing the new JB-28FF, a fan-fret (multi-scale) baritone guitar with a sweep of 27.5"-28.75," and designed to be tuned B-B or C-C. Photos coming soon!
